As Fall Arrives....it's time to make sure your Engines Cooling System has enough protection to protect it from freezing during the approaching winter conditions. Ethylene Glycol is the most common Antifreeze used in Off-Road Diesel Engines and the Recommended Coolant/Anti-Freeze. It is recommended for Missouri Winter Weather Conditions a Mixture of 50% Distilled Water and 50% Ethylene Glycol Antifreeze for Proper Protection. Too Much Antifreeze and it freeze a higher temeperatures. Maximum Antifreeze level should never exceed 70% as it diminishes the protection from freezing level. 100% Ethylene Glycol will freeze at 10.4°F 50/50 Mix Protects to -34.2°F
